The Institute for Multidisciplinary Research in Art within the “George Enescu” National University of Arts in Iași (ICMA UNAGE) aims to develop scientific research within the university to a level of excellence and, at the same time, to become a valuable and constant partner of research networks in Romania and abroad.


In the spirit of UNAGE’s specific multidisciplinarity, ICMA (The Institute for Multidisciplinary Research in Art) aims to harness the university’s full human and patrimonial potential through multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary research activities; to develop regional, national and international partnerships meant to support scientific research relevant to the academic, economic and social environment.
