Neuroplasticity, Cognition, Creativity. Interdisciplinary Perspectives

The Institute for Multidisciplinary Research in Art (ICMA) within the “George Enescu” National University of Arts from Iași, in partnership with the “I.I. Mironescu” Cultural Center, the “Grigore T. Popa” University of Medicine and Pharmacy from Iași and the “Gheorghe Asachi” Technical University from Iași, organized on November 7, 2024, in the “Panaite Zosin” Auditorium of the “Grigore T. Popa” Center for Modern Languages and Cultural Integration from Iași, the conference Neuroplasticity, Cognition, Creativity. Interdisciplinary Perspectives.

Through the scientific presentations session, the conference aimed to continue and fathom the research started last year on Neuroscience, Creativity and Neural Connections in the Process of Artistic Creation.

The lectures presented during the conference explored issues related to the formation of new neuronal connections, the improvement of cognitive functions, flexible thinking, the creative brain or the stimulation of imagination, approaches that offer a perspective on the dimension of neuroplasticity as a way to develop the creative and human potential, and were given by specialists in the fields of arts, medicine or technology from Iași, Bucharest and Brisbane (Australia).
